Hemp’s History in the Ancient World:
In the early 800 BC, the first utilization of hemp was recorded. According to certain references, hemp was first utilized for the purpose of poetry in a village known as ‘Taiwan.’ In the early 6000 BC, hemp was utilized as food in China. It started to be used in manufacturing textiles in 4000 BC.

Moreover, in this Farm Bill, it was clear that hemp was legally separated from marijuana, and the cultivation of industrial hemp was made legal. In 2017, approval was granted to Cannabidiol, an oral medication also known as cannabinoids, shortened for ‘CBD’ by the United States’ Food and Drug Administration.
This 2018 Bill had affirmed the farm bill of 2014 and further confirmed removing hemp and its derivations from the act of controlled substances.
